Loving ( & living in) LA

I’ve lived in a lot of places. From Nevada to California to Washington back to California. Every 2-4 years like clockwork, I uprooted my entire life, found a new job and moved to a new city. I loved those cities (mostly) but in each place, I found myself restless, tired of the weather, tired of the jobs, and ready to go somewhere new. That is, until I moved to LA. I’ve lived in LA for 8 years now and still get starry eyed driving down Sunset Blvd.

To me, LA is the best of the best. The best weather, the best beaches (at least for the US), the best food, the best people, the best museums, the best estate sales and vintage markets. We have oceans, mountains, beaches, city, concerts, sports, and events. Every weekend is an opportunity for a new adventure, something new to try. My “to-do” in LA list that I made on first arriving, gets longer instead of shorter.

All of this is to say, I love LA. This series of work is a small outpouring of love for this city and I hope that it reminds you of something that you love about LA.
